Mike is a dedicated trade union organiser and campaigner with many years’ experience, including working to keep council services in-house, for the best possible pay settlement and for the London Living Wage, in conditions which over the past 4 years have been extremely difficult and complex. I believe Mike has the skills to get the best possible results for Unison members in Islington, which can only be limited in the absence of an effective campaign at the national level by Unison and the other local government unions."
